Scotch® Tape 27 is a 7-mil thick, premium-grade, woven, glass-cloth backing, electrical tape. This tape offers electrical insulation up to 600V and mechanical protection at high temperatures. The flame-retardant tape has a pressure-sensitive, thermosetting, rubber adhesive that offers good adherence. Tape withstands a temperature range of 32 to 302 degrees F (0 to 150 degrees C).
Scotch® Tape 27 Edge Tear-Resistant Tape is suitable for applications that require the corrosion-free protection of specially treated, woven, glass cloth, as well as the high-tensile strength of glass that will not shrink, rot or burn. This tape is designed to provide heat-stable insulation for furnaces, motor lead connectors, switches and oven controls. UL Listed, CSA Certified and RoHS 2011/65/EU Compliant.
