3M™ DMD180® High-Performance Flexible Laminate is designed for insulating and protecting electrical equipment. It offers excellent dielectric and varnish absorption characteristics while ensuring low moisture absorption. The 3-ply composite construction makes the laminate suitable for Class 180(H) electrical insulation systems.

3M™ DMD180® High-Performance Flexible Laminate is ideal for slot cell, phase and wedge insulation. The conjunction of the inorganic-filled resin system and 2 layers of the polyester film make this laminate suitable for major high-temperature applications. It exhibits optimized thermal conductivity, long-term voltage endurance and coil-bonding characteristics. The tear initiation and cut-through-resistant polyester-film reinforcement are excellent for automatic insertion and heavy-duty winding operations. This laminate meets the requirements of UL, CSA and IEC standards for Class 180 electrical insulation systems.
