Installation and care
To Apply
- The red dot indicates the front (view) side of the filter.
Step B. The hanger arms snap in place.
Step C. Hang the filter on the monitor.
Tips for Optimizing Use
- To raise filter height, apply foam pads enclosed with your packaging.
- Some 3M™ Framed Privacy Filter models allow you to replace hanger arms with easy-on, easy-off Command® Strips.
- Remove the filter from your device and place it on a flat surface.
- Moisten a soft, lint-free cloth with ammonia-free glass cleaner and wipe away fingerprints, smudges and soil.
- Reapply your filter.
Installation and care
To Apply
- The red dot indicates the front (view) side of the filter.
Step 2. The Command Strips should be applied to the back (non-view) side of the filter. Remove the liner from one side of the connected Command Strips. Position the strips on the filter frame. The round release tabs should face the outside edge of the frame. Repeat on all 4 corners.
Step 3. Remove liners. Center the privacy filter on the monitor, press firmly for 30 seconds.
To Remove Step 4. From the bottom of the filter, gently pull the filter off the monitor. Step 5. To remove the Command Strips from the monitor, slowly pull the round release tab straight out until the strip releases. Repeat on all strips.

Step 1: Determine Screen Type
First, determine if your device has a raised bezel or a flat front glass screen.
Raised Bezel
These screens have a raised frame around the edges.
Flat Front Glass
These screens have edge-to-edge glass without a raised frame.

Step 2: Measure Your Screen
Next, measure your screen according to the screen type you have.
Raised Bezel
Measure the height (h) and width (w) of the screen's viewable area making sure to measure within the bezel.
Flat Front Glass
Measure the height (h) and width (w) of the entire glass display making sure to measure all the way from edge-to-edge.
